The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI) continued its participation today at Dubai Airshow 2025, one of the world’s largest aviation and defense exhibitions, held at Al Maktoum International Airport in the United Arab Emirates. The event runs until 21 November and brings together global industry leaders, policymakers, and defense manufacturers.
During the airshow, Eng. Saleh bin Abdullah Al-Aqili, Deputy Governor of GAMI for the Enabling Sector, held meetings with senior Saudi officials, including His Excellency Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, and His Excellency Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Duailej, President of the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA). Discussions focused on strengthening alignment between military industrial development, transport, and aviation sectors as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives.
Al-Aqili also met with representatives of leading international defense companies to explore opportunities for strategic partnerships, technology transfer, and deeper industrial cooperation aimed at expanding the Kingdom’s domestic defense manufacturing capabilities.
Dubai Airshow continues to serve as a critical platform for showcasing emerging aerospace technologies, facilitating major defense and aviation deals, and enhancing collaboration between governments, operators, and global manufacturers.
