The UAE National Media Authority (NMA) hosted its annual Ramadan Suhoor gathering in Dubai, bringing together senior media leaders, editors-in-chief, industry executives, and digital content creators to strengthen collaboration across the country’s media sector.
Held at the Royal Atlantis Hotel in Dubai, the event provided a platform for dialogue between representatives of leading Arab and international media organizations, media companies operating in the UAE, and prominent digital influencers.
The gathering reflects the Authority’s continued efforts to reinforce cooperation within the media ecosystem while supporting the development of the UAE’s rapidly evolving media landscape.

In his opening remarks, His Excellency Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Authority, welcomed attendees and addressed the broader regional security environment.
He referred to recent Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting the UAE, praising the swift response of the UAE Armed Forces in intercepting the threats.
“These desperate attempts to undermine our security have been shattered by the bravery and vigilance of our Armed Forces,” Al Hamed said.
“Their actions demonstrate an unwavering commitment to defending our nation’s sovereignty.”
He added that the Armed Forces’ decisive actions reassured both citizens and residents, reflecting the preparedness and resilience of the UAE’s national defense institutions.

Al Hamed also praised the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, emphasizing his strategic approach in guiding the country during periods of regional instability.

“Removing falsehood begins with ignoring it,” he stated.
“Be cautious when sharing unverified content, as it may be used in psychological warfare targeting societal stability.”
