ASELSAN is presenting a wide range of integrated defense systems at the World Defense Show 2026, underlining its growing engagement with regional defense requirements across the Middle East.
At WDS 2026, ASELSAN is displaying capabilities spanning air and missile defense, electronic warfare, naval systems, and payloads for unmanned platforms. The portfolio reflects the company’s emphasis on systems integration and interoperability to address the increasingly complex operational environments faced by regional armed forces.
Layered Air and Missile Defense
A central feature of ASELSAN’s exhibition is its Steel Dome air and missile defense architecture. The layered framework brings together systems including the SİPER long-range air defense system, KORKUT very short-range air defense system, GÜRZ 200B tactical air and missile defense system, and the İHTAR counter-UAS solution. These systems are designed to counter a broad range of aerial threats, from missiles to low-altitude and unmanned targets.
ASELSAN is also showcasing the SEDA 100 Gunshot Detection System, integrated on Hanwha Aerospace’s 8×8 Tigon armored vehicle, highlighting its ability to integrate sensor systems onto different land platforms in line with operational needs.
Electronic Warfare and Spectrum Operations
In the electronic warfare domain, ASELSAN is presenting systems such as the KORAL 200 mobile radar electronic warfare system and the PUHU 3-LT mobile V/UHF electronic warfare and electronic support system. These systems support detection, identification, and protection functions in environments where control of the electromagnetic spectrum plays a critical role in operational effectiveness.
Unmanned Systems and Precision Engagement
The company’s display also includes payloads for unmanned aerial platforms, notably the ASELFLIR electro-optical sensor family, alongside precision guidance kits such as LGK and TOLUN. These systems support intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, and precision engagement missions relevant to regional security operations.
Naval and Underwater Warfare Systems
In the maritime domain, ASELSAN is exhibiting surface and underwater warfare systems including the DÜFAS sonar, HIZIR countermeasure system, ZOKA 100-S/ED acoustic jammer, and aselBUOY directional sonobuoy. These capabilities are aimed at strengthening situational awareness and defensive measures for naval forces, particularly in anti-submarine warfare roles.
Commenting on the company’s participation, ASELSAN President and CEO Ahmet Akyol described World Defense Show as an important platform for engaging with regional partners and supporting long-term cooperation in the Middle East, emphasizing the company’s focus on delivering integrated defense solutions aligned with partner requirements.
Founded in 1975, ASELSAN operates across radar, electronic warfare, electro-optics, guidance, and communication technologies, exporting defense systems to more than 90 countries and maintaining a direct presence in 24 countries worldwide.
