Submission Guidelines

West Asia Watch welcomes original ideas, commentary, and analytical pieces on topics related to geopolitics, international relations, security studies, maritime affairs, and strategic developments across West Asia and the broader Middle East.

As a platform dedicated to informed analysis, we aim to contribute meaningful perspectives to ongoing policy and academic discussions. Submissions that present well-researched arguments, fresh insights, and thoughtful analysis that challenge conventional narratives are highly encouraged.

Submission Requirements

Please consider the following guidelines before submitting your article:

  • Evidence-Based Analysis: All opinions and arguments must be supported by credible facts, data, or references.

  • Article Length: Submissions should be 800–1500 words.

  • Original Work: Plagiarized or previously published content will not be accepted.

  • Submission Format: Articles should be submitted in MS Word format.

  • Author Details: Please include a short author bio and a high-resolution author photograph with your submission.

Editorial Review Process

After submission, please allow up to one week (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) for our editorial team to review your article. Authors will be contacted directly only if the editorial board decides to publish the submission.

Due to the high volume of submissions we receive, we may not be able to respond to every contributor. If you do not receive a response within the review period, you are welcome to submit your article to other publications.

Exclusivity Policy

For legal and copyright reasons, all submitted articles must be exclusive to West Asia Watch and should not be under consideration elsewhere during the review process.
